Shadows

Shadows
Shadows of the spires
Pierce the shoreline
But reach in vain for the heavens.
Stratocumulus undercuts
Cumulus, turning the
Earth colored walls to apricot.
Will it rain?
The walkers gamble
And continue their stroll.
